Day 1 :

Arrival in Madurai – Tiruchirappalli

You shall be arriving at the point of arrival in Madurai since Trichy has not connectivity to the rest of India in the form of airports or railway stations. On arrival our tour representative will greet you at the point of arrival who will then transfer you to your accommodation in Trichy via a road journey of around 3 hours. After checking in to your hotel the remainder of your day will be free for you to spend in leisure and peace.

Day 2 :

Trichy – Tanjore

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will be checked out of your hotel here and made to head on to your next destination of Tanjore. This will entail a road trip of around 2 hours. On arrival, you will immediately be checked in to your hotel and made to then head on for the remaining half-day tour of Tanjore. This sightseeing will include visit to the famous places located here like Brihadeshwara Temple, great living Chola Temples, and Thanjavur Maratha Palace, etc. After this, you will head back to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Tanjore – Kumbakonam

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be checked out of your hotel here in Tanjore and made to head on to Kumbakonam which will be a road journey of around 1.5 to 2 hours maximum. On reaching Kumbakonam your half-day of sightseeing will take place that will entail a visit to places like – Sarangapani Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Nageshwar Temple, etc. Finally, you will be checked in to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Kumbakonam – Madurai Departure

After your breakfast in the morning, you shall be made to head on to Madurai via a road trip. On reaching you will immediately be dropped off at your point of departure in Madurai in either railway station or airport. The drop-off will mark an end to your Thanjavur local sightseeing tour with excursions of Trichy and Kumbakonam.
