Lamkhaga Pass Trek
The Lamkhaga Pass, located near the Indo-Tibet border, is the most difficult hike in the Garhwal region, rising 5381 metres above sea level. The hike connects Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh to Harsil in Garhwal, passing through some inaccessible districts of Himachal and Garhwal with magnificent forests of Pine, Deodar, and Bhojpatra. The lush Deodar forests, the streaming Bhagirathi river, bird chattering, and high towering peaks make this place ideal for nature lovers and trekkers.
Harsil, the starting point of the Lamkhaga Pass, is a lovely town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
