Triund Trek in Himachal Pradesh

Triund is a small hill station located in the Kangra district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Triund is a part of Dharamkot and is located at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges at a height of 2828m. This is an easy and ideal destination for trekkers looking for a short but moderately difficult trek with spectacular vistas and a rewarding end result.

The journey to Triund is short but arduous. Right from the start of the trek, you can see the Moon peak, Rifle Horn, Arthur’s Seat, and the mighty Dhauladhar range.  The forest section of this trek is small but refreshing with oak and rhododendron forest, this lovely forest segment is quite memorable for trekkers. 

The sunset is perhaps the most spectacular aspect of the Triund Trek, and it is the main draw for all nature paparazzi. It is a very picturesque and rewarding trek with breathtaking views of the Kangra valley and the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges. Because of its easy difficulty, this trek appeals to nature lovers and trekkers of all levels.
