Bhaba Pass Trek in Himachal Pradesh

Bhaba Pass, also known as Bhawa Pass, is a high mountain pass in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh with an elevation of 4,890 metres. Bhaba Pass connects the green and fertile Bhaba valley on the Kinnaur side with the barren high-altitude Pin valley on the Spiti side. The Pin Bhaba Pass Trek is the passage between two distinct worlds that introduces the trekkers to two distinct Himalayan cultures as you traverse from one side of the mountain to the other.

The Pin Bhaba trail begins in the charming little Himalayan village of Kafnu in Kinnaur Valley and extends down to Mudh in Spiti. This route from Kinnaur through dense forests and old trails to the vast, arid lands of Spiti is a visual cautionary tale about the peaceful coexistence of extremes.
