Bagini Glacier Trek
Bagini Glacier Trek is an unspoiled, adventurous trek which is a stunning natural beauty located near Joshimath, the town of Chamoli district in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. With a height of 4515 metres, it provides views of great Himalayan peaks such as Changbang, Kalanka, and Dunagiri, Hathi, Ghori, Dunagiri (east), Garur and Satminal, which makes it an exciting trek in Uttarakhand.
The river from Bagini Glacier meets the Dhauli Ganga at Jumma, which later meets the Alaknanda River at Vishnu Prayag, two of Ganga’s main tributaries. The name Ganga is gleaned from the confluence of these two major rivers at Devprayag.
The Bagini Glacier trek is an easy-to-moderate hike that takes you through quaint villages, blooming meadows, and dense forests.
