Day 1 :

Arrive Ahmadabad & Sightseeing

Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad railway station, our courteous tour representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to your pre-booked hotel. After a smooth check-in process, take some time to freshen up, and then we’ll kick off our day 1 sightseeing adventure. Our itinerary includes several captivating attractions:

Sabarmati Ashram: This historic ashram was once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi until 1930. Explore the museum within the ashram, where you’ll find well-preserved items used by the “father of the nation.”
Kankaria Lake: The largest lake in the city, Kankaria Lake has a fascinating history dating back to the 15th century. Once a royal bathing zone, it now serves as a lively picnic spot with illuminated walking tracks and a variety of food joints.
Calico Museum of Textiles: A unique gem, this museum showcases India’s rich textile heritage. Established in 1949, it houses an extensive collection of ancient and rare Indian textiles.
Jama Masjid: Ahmedabad’s most sacred mosque, Jama Masjid boasts 260 pillars and 15 domes. It was built in 1423 AD during the reign of Sultan Ahmad Shah. Nearby, you’ll find the mausoleum of Sultan Ahmad Shah.
Vastrapur Lake: Also known as Bhakt Kavi Narsinh Mehta Sarovar, this urban lake in the western part of the city offers a serene lakeside experience. Stroll along broad jogging paths, admire beautiful gardens, and enjoy the open-air theater.
Teen Darwaza: This historical gateway, adorned with triple arches, has witnessed significant events throughout history. It stands to the east of the renowned Bhadra Fort.
Nehru Bridge: Named after Jawaharlal Nehru, this modern bridge spans the Sabarmati River and serves as a vital transportation link for the city.
Ellis Bridge: A century-old landmark, Ellis Bridge connects eastern and western Ahmedabad. Its graceful arches span the Sabarmati River.

Day 2 :

Rest of the Sightseeing

On the following morning, after a hearty breakfast, our Ahmadabad sightseeing adventure continues. Let’s explore some remarkable sites:

Siddi Saiyyed Mosque: This iconic mosque, constructed around 1573 during the Gujarat sultanate era, is renowned for its exquisite architectural finesse. The intricate latticework, known as Jali, adds to its charm.
Sidi Bashir Mosque: Another ancient gem in Ahmedabad, this mosque was built in 1452 by Sidi Bashir, a slave of Sultan Ahmad Shah. Although much of the mosque was destroyed during battles between the Sultans and the Marathas, the main entrance and the unique swinging minarets (Jhula minars) still stand.
Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum: Passionately preserving history, this museum opened to the public in 2004. Inside, you’ll find a vast collection of rare artifacts, including bronzes, miniature paintings, drawings, manuscripts, and sculptures.
Sanskar Kendra: Designed by the world-renowned architect Le Corbusier, this cultural center houses museums that showcase India’s rich heritage. Explore the artifacts that celebrate our cultural magnificence.
At the end of our second day of sightseeing, you’ll have the evening free to enjoy at your leisure. Dinner awaits, followed by a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 :

Ahmadabad Departure

The last day of your Ahmedabad sightseeing trip will start with a healthy breakfast and then we will check-out from hotel. The leftover destinations of Ahmedabad sightseeing will be covered today, the Rani no Hajiro. It is a historic location amid the crowded Manek Chowk in the city of Ahmadabad. Rani no Hajiro is actually a mausoleum with several tombs of the various female members of the royal family of Sultan Ahmad Shah; the founder of the city of Ahmedabad. Apart from the tombs of the queens of Ahmad Shah, the mausoleum also houses many tombs of the queens’ close relatives. This Mausoleum was in the year 1445 AD by the then Sultan; Sultan Ahmed Shah. After spending some time at the Rani no Hajiro, you’ll be dropped at Ahmadabad railway station where our representative bids you adieu as your journey ends here. We are sure that you must have many astonishing memories of Ahmedabad by now.
